Account and data deletion

This page explains how to delete your bikested account and all associated data, exactly what is deleted, and what we are legally required to retain for a limited time.


How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your account and all data yourself, at any time, directly in the app:

  1. Open the bikested app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account & Security.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Confirm.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Data is removed from the app right away, and from backups within 30 days at the latest.


What gets deleted

  • account and sign-in credentials (email, password)
  • cyclist profile and profile picture
  • garage, bikes and components
  • service log and history
  • AI assistant conversations
  • imported mileage and activity-source connections (Apple Health / Health Connect)
  • public profile (becomes unavailable)
  • your devices' push tokens

What we retain, and for how long

Due to legal obligations we retain, for a limited time, only the minimum that no longer lets us identify you as a specific person in normal operation:

Can't access the app?

If you can't sign in to the app, request deletion by email at privacy@bikested.com from the address registered on your account. We will process the request within 30 days at the latest; we may ask for additional details to verify your identity.
